Today Wargaming announced a new mode for its free-to-play massively multiplayer online action game, World of Tanks.
Update 8.9 introduces the Team Battle mode, a new combat scenario where players can form teams against others of similar experience levels.
The update also rolls out a second line of German Tank Destroyers, ranging from tier four to tier 10. These armored vehicles include the Marder III, Soviet T-34 tanks, the Tier 6 Nashorn, and the Waffenträger auf Pz.IV, which is equipped with a 360-degree rotation turret. The Waffenträger auf E 100 will also debut as the new top-tier Tank Destroyer.
Players can also enjoy the "Northwest" battle arena, set in North America, and the Encounter battle mode for the Erlenberg river.
