World of Warcraft is getting it's new expansion next month! Aww yeah!
With that being said, we all know the hell that comes with new dungeons…There will be death. It will probably be the tanks fault, but if it's not their fault then it's totally the healer and if it's not the healer it's that one OP mage who won't stop pulling before the tank gets there (why don't you just tank then Mr.Mage?).
There might be a way to die less in the new dungeons, it might be following the tradition rules of 'Don't stand in that' or by doing your research on the dungeon. A crazy idea is mixing those two together and going on from here.
Here's a quick look at what the new dungeons will be offering:
Bloodmaul Slag Mines
Welcome to the volcanic caverns where the blood sweat and tears of slaves from Draenor mine away, all at the whim of the Bloodmaul ogres (like they have a choice). It's said that the Slag Mines are there to bring in all the gems you could ask for, but if you felt like the Mines are shady – it's because they are…well probably. Why else would you be running through there, killing everything if it wasn't?
The dungeon comes equipped with 4 new bosses and gear to get you from 90 to 91 to 92 and maybe to 93 (we both know you'll be wearing that one purple until your item level is too low for new dungeons).
Iron Docks
This coastal dungeon won't be like the sunny beach vacation you dream of every winter. It's filled to brim with warships and artillery and it's your job to beat everyone down in the dungeon and make it yours, ya hear?
This won't be any lootship (I guess the real name is Gunship – whatever), you've got to stop the four bosses from setting sail! Pro-tip: If you see red circles that are warning you of an explosion, don't stand in it.
Auchindoun
Remember that dungeon near the Terrokar Forest in the Bone Wastes? The one with the shiny guys wrapped up in curtains? Well, it's kind of back. Except in a different location and entirely different – what I'm saying here is it's not exactly the dungeon from before, this is Warlords of Draenor we're playing here.
You'll be waving hello (and hopefully goodbye – if they wave goodbye that means you died) to four new bosses, one of which you might've said hello to before.
Skyreach
Location: Spires of Arak
Level: 97-99
Bosses: 4
Finishing off the leveling up grind is Skyreach (not Skyfall, although if there isn't a 007 Easter Egg in this dungeon I will be sad). In this dungeon you'll be putting and end to the Adherents of Rukhmar. Those guys have been harnessing the power of Apexis technology and aren't looking to do any good with it.
Take down four bosses, oh, and don't stand in the light. Don't even look at it.
Shadowmoon Burial Grounds
Location: Shadowmoon Valley
Level: 100
Bosses: 4
This dungeon will begin your grind for gear. It takes us back to Shadowmoon Valley (not to farm for eggs for a Netherdrake) to reign in the ancestral spirits of the Shadowmoon clan before they pull Draenor in the void.
Four bosses await you here. One of which is the Shadowmoon chieftain Ner'zhul.
The Everbloom
Location: Gorgrond
Level: 100
Bosses: 5
You know poison ivy? Not the Batman villain (do you see the words capitalized? No), the actual plant…The kind that causes rashes. Well, this dungeon will reach not to play with plants that are out to kill you. Everbloom is the link to Stormwind, you've got to get through all the Blackrock Foundry's botani.
Five au naturale bosses.
Grimrail Depot
Location: Gorgrond
Level: 100
Bosses: 3
Ever explore the Grimrail tracks on your way to attack the city of Draenor? No, oh you're alliance? Well then…
This dungeon is vital for the Iron Horde, it's obviously not going to be used to make friends. In fact its carrying a railgun powerful enough to break Shattrath's shield. Sounds like a movie (or six movies about trains heading to a city with a bomb). You're going to stop that train before it destroys the city! Got it?
There are three bosses for you to say hello to.
Upper Blackrock Spire
Location: Blackrock Mountain (Azeroth)
Level: 100
Bosses: 5
You've been around here before (omg Blackrock Spire has claimed too many of my lives), this time we are going to be fighting off the Ironmarch to get through it. Blackrock Spire has become the home to those that wish to invade the beloved Azeroth – that means that you'll be invading them first.
Five bosses.
If you don't like my interpretation of the dungeons, you can go to World of Warcraft's site for their scoop on it.
