WoW Movie Contest Part of BlizzCon Festivities
NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra is top prize for
best movie featuring in-game activity
Blizzard is challenging World of Warcraft gamers
to come up with some original movies and those who produce the best will have
the opportunity to win some very nice prizes. It is all part of the official
BlizzCon World of Warcraft Movie Competition, sponsored by NVIDIA! To enter, all
players need to do is create a movie using in-game footage and combine it with
music from any of Blizzard’s past games. Submissions started being accepted on
Thursday, September 8, which means you have plenty of time to create
movie-magic! Five winners will receive an NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800 Ultra, two
tickets to BlizzCon, and much more. Details on how to submit your World of
Warcraft movie will be announced when we begin accepting submissions. Good luck!
The movies requirements are as follows:
- Accepted File Formats: wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg,
qt, mov - Max filesize: 25megs
Five winners will be announced and prizes include
an NVIDIA® GeForce™ 6800 Ultra card, two tickets to BlizzCon, one free year of
World of Warcraft (subscription), a World of Warcraft cinematic poster, a World
of Warcraft baseball cap and World of Warcraft action figures.
BlizzCon takes place Oct. 28-29 at the Anaheim
Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
During the event, Blizzard will also be hosting a
costume contest, which is co-sponsored by Intel and Alienware. Attendees simply
show up.to BlizzCon on Friday, October 28th as their favorite Blizzard
Entertainment character and enter to compete with others for fun and prizes.
BlizzCon attendees who would like to participate in the contest can sign up at
