The new Suplex City TV spot for WWE 2K17 shows off just how 2K wants us to experience its new game when it releases next month
In the trailer, we see a number of superstars such as Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Big Show and Sheamus, and of course this year's cover star Brock Lesnar. There will be 130 wresters in this year's game, making it the biggest ever and topping last 2K16 by about seven superstars. With two weeks to go until release, we have still yet to see any gameplay trailers. This has me a little worried to be honest as gameplay and physics are said to be 2K's main concern. Ever since taking the series over from THQ, the character movements have been "boxey" and not too realistic. Hopefully it changes this year, as there are a number of new features and content that have a lot of people excited.
The return of backstage and crowd brawls, the revamped MyCareer mode as well as in depth customization leave a lot to be anticipated. You can even start your own product line similar to NBA 2K and its sneakers. I'm hoping this doesn't serve as a distraction to lackluster gameplay, but we'll see when WWE 2K17 releases on October 11th on both PlayStation and Xbox platforms
