Fox officially announced The X-Files reboot in March and they aren't pussyfooting around the reboot, they are supporting it – no holds barred. Fox will be launching the reboot on one of the biggest days in the NFL world – after the NFC Championship game.
On Sunday, January 24th The X-Files will make its official reboot on Fox. The second episode will debut on the following Monday, January 25th at 8PM, taking over Gotham's TV spot (don't worry Gotham will come back in Spring – probably).
The X-Files will air every Monday at 8PM. Following X-Files at nine, the DC drama Lucifer will be making its television debut. One of the best aspects of the reboot is that there are tons of actors reprising their roles, as well as show writers including the show's creator. The X-Files formula won't be changed up too much in the reboot, promising more of what we love.
I'm so excited!
