We've heard and seen lots of director Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse over the past few months, but we're finally get our first trailer tomorrow, December 11, 20th Century Fox announced. Presumably, this will be the trailer that was first shown at San Diego Comic-Con in July, which leaked online but was removed shortly after.
In a post on Twitter, the studio shared the first poster of the upcoming film, which features a charred X-Men logo with the words "Only the strong will survive."

X-Men: Apocalypse, which marks the end of the trilogy that started with X-Men: First Class and continued with X-Men: Days of Future Past, is set to hit theaters on May 27, 2016. The film itself fast forwards from 60’s era First Class and time bending Days of Future Past and shifts instead to the 80’s, with the introduction of iconic characters such as Jubilee (Lana Condor), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) and Psylocke (Olivia Munn).

"Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction."
