X-Men Days of Future Past ‘Rogue Cut’ announced for July release

Taking a break from all the X-Men: Apocalypse promoting, director Bryan Singer has taken to the web — via a brand new livestreaming app Periscope — to announce a special version of its predecessor, X-Men Days of Future Past.

Officially titled "X-Men Days of Future Past Rogue Cut," this is essentially a director's cut of the movie, featuring more than 17 minutes of additional footage that primarily focuses on the character Rogue, according to Singer. The director also revealed that it has other changes as well, but didn't spoil any of the additional scenes.

X-Men Days of Future Past Rogue Cut will release on July 14, which also just so happens the be the date the first X-Men film debuted 15 years ago. What better way to celebrate the anniversary than with a special edition of what was already a great film?
