X-Men: New Mutants characters revealed in casting call

Last week it was revealed which characters would appear in the Inhumans thanks to a casting call. Now, That Hashtag Show has gotten their hands on another casting call, this one for the upcoming X-Men: New Mutants. This is separate from the X-Men: Supernova film being made about Dark Phoenix.

The film, which begins shooting this Spring, will feature five new mutants which are broken down below.

[CHRIS] Male, 17 years old, Actor must be an adult (18 or over) or a legally emancipated minor; Tall, corn-fed Kentucky kid.

This is Cannonball, a mutant who's power is flight. He doesn't simply fly, however, but rather uses energy which makes him invincible only while he's in the act of flying itself

[ANNA] Female, 17 years old, Actor must be an adult (18 or over) or a legally emancipated minor; Russian, sexy, with an obvious mean streak.

This is Magik, who is Colossus' baby sister and real name Ilyana Rasputin. She started off as having a teleportation power, but learned magic after being trapped in the limbo dimension and needing it to get out. She also uses a sword forged from her very soul. 

[ROB] Male, 16 years old, Actor must be an adult (18 or over) or a legally emancipated minor; Brazilian, cool, confident and extremely handsome.

This is Roberto De Costa, or Sunspot. As it states, he uses the power of the sun and transforms it into energy to set himself ablaze, fly, etc.

[JESSICA] Female, 16 years old, Actor must be an adult (18 or over) or a legally emancipated minor; British, punk rock shorn red hair, waif-like.

This is Rahne Sinclair, better knowns as Wolfsbane. She can transform herself into various forms of wolf. 

That Hashtag Show also notes that Moonstar, a Native American mutant can enter into people's minds and make their fears appear real. This role has allegedly been cast already with an unknown actor. 

It's unknown on when the movie will release, but as noted it is scheduled to begin filming in May up in Montreal
