In an announcement by Major Nelson today, the Xbox 360 preview features that have been ongoing for several months have finally been released to the public including many features already present on Xbox One.
360 users can now redeem codes right from their messages similar to Xbox One users as well as see what friends are playing on both Xbox One and windows 10. Previously you would only see "Xbox One" but not what game or app they were using. A version of the activity feed has also been added where you can like friends' posts, look at screen shots, post updates and more. It will also be similar to the Xbox One version except it won't be on your main dashboard and instead under the social tab on the menu.
Perhaps the best part of the update is the addition of the cloud storage. A total of 2GB of cloud storage is available now for all Xbox 360 games. Now, that may not sound like a lot with most Xbox One games being upwards of over 20GBs, but remember, the Xbox 360 games take up a fraction of the storage space with some only a few dozen MBs. As Major Nelson notes, it's excellent for storing those games you want over on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
