A Microsoft representative has confirmed that the recently revealed Elite Xbox controller will be launching this October for $150. Unveiled at Microsoft's E3 press conference, players who decide to buy the controller will have a wide variety of swappable items to adjust the controller to their likings.

Microsoft will also offer an app that allows controller owners to adjust the trigger minimum and maximum values, thumbstick sensitivity, and button assignments, among other things. In short, you can assign any of the controller's 14 different inputs to the ABXY buttons, paddles, D-pad, triggers, and thumbstick clicks.
