Xbox Game Pass adds Disney+, EA Play, and new games

In case there was any doubt about the value of Xbox Game Pass, it got even better today. Users of the service will get access to many new games this month. But there’s even more goodness to be excited for with a special Disney+ trial and EA Play.

Microsoft has grown the Xbox Game Pass substantially in recent months. What was once only a great value for games now offers so much more. Above all, users of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can even stream their games via the cloud at no extra cost.

Starting today, EA Play will join the ranks of boons. It’s the base tier service but it still offers a lot of gaming, again at no additional fee. Pretty incredible deal for gamers. Meanwhile, we learn that seven EA published titles join the cloud gaming selection for Android users. Here they are:

  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • Madden NFL 20
  • Mass Effect: Andromeda
  • Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
  • The Sims 4
  • Unravel 2

But of course, there’s even more games. Divided across PC, consoles, and android, 12 games join Xbox Game Pass. It’a really nice and varied selection of titles where every type of user ought to find their next favorite.

  • Gears Tactics (Android & Console) – November 9
  • Destiny 2: Beyond Light (Android & Console) – November 10
  • Planet Coaster: Console Edition (Android & Console) – November 10
  • Tetris Effect: Connected (Console & PC) – November 10
  • Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (Console & PC) – November 12
  • Gonner2 (Android) ID@Xbox – November 12
  • Streets of Rogue (PC) ID@Xbox – November 12
  • Ark: Survival Evolved: Explorer’s Edition (Android, Console & PC) ID@Xbox – November 17
  • Halo MCC: Halo 4 (PC) – November 17
  • River City Girls (Android, Console & PC) ID@Xbox – November 19
  • Star Renegades (Android & Console) ID@Xbox – November 19

But Microsoft has another ace up their sleeves for November. As an added perk, users of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will further receive a 30-day trial of the Disney+ streaming service. A brilliant time now that The Mandalorian released its second season and the next-generation Xbox Series X|S are out.
