After the biggest online retailer for skateboards began supporting the cause to make EA focus on Skate, Xbox head Phil Spencer finally commented on the subject. His remark came after the EA Instagram was inundated with Skate 3 requests on nearly every posts, whether it was relevant or not.
Spencer replied to a fan questioning when Skate 3 would hit the Xbox One via backward compatibility and while he never said when the game would release, he said he was "confident" that it would.
@DevinSeanBean We know its a key game and are on it. I'm confident in getting it out to XB1 customers, just can't give you a date yet, sorry

Apparently, Spencer gets the message – people want Skate to make a return.
@DevinSeanBean I'm with everyone on this, franchise reinvented skate control in gaming, really want to get it done, we'll get there.

Being "confident" that the game will hit the Xbox One doesn't necessarily mean that it's exactly happening now or even in the next three months. However, at least there's some kind of hope… Right?
