Xbox LIVE Friends list ‘limited’ on Xbox One and Xbox 360

Microsoft has acknowledged issues with managing friends lists on Xbox LIVE on both Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms, promising users they are working to address the problem.

Over on Xbox Support, Microsoft highlights the affected services include "managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing."

"Having difficulties managing your Friends or Profiles? Us too, but we're already working hard to address this issue! We’re grateful for your patience in the meantime, Xbox members," the latest update reads. "We’ll update you as soon as we have more information."

First reported problems came about 16 hours ago, so it appears this has been going on for quite a while now. We'll update you once we learn more.
