Xbox Live goes free on Xbox One, 360 this weekend; Minecraft: Xbox One Edition too

If you've been looking an opportunity to play online with friends on your Xbox One or Xbox 360, the time has come! Luckily, even if you're not the online type, there's something in this deal for you too!

Microsoft has announced that between May 18th and May 21st, Xbox Live Gold benefits will be available to every Xbox user – whether or not you subscribe to the service. In addition to that, Minecraft: Xbox One Edition will be free to play through the same dates.

To reap the benefits of the 'Multiplayer All-Access' event all you have to do is log in on your Xbox. If you want to grab Minecraft, you just need to download it. On May 22nd, you'll need to buy either item or forfeit access to the goods.
