Xbox LIVE’s Spring Sale begins today; offers discounts for Skyrim DLC, The Walking Dead, and AC3

Microsoft's Xbox LIVE Spring Sale kicks off today, bringing Xbox 360 owners a plethora of games and downloadable content for discounted prices. While we were pretty disappointed with the offerings during the Xbox LIVE Ultimate Game Sale, the Spring Sale seems to have a better understanding of what Xbox gamers want.

For starters, Assassin's Creed 3 is actually available for discount this time around. Normally priced at $59.99, you can download the Games on Demand version for just $39.99 (33% savings). Those who haven't yet hopped on Telltale's The Walking Dead bandwagon can now do so at a more affordable price. Episode 1 of Season One is completely free, while the remaining for are just 200 Microsoft Points each ($2.50 each) — 50% off the original 400MSP. With Season Two of The Walking Dead already in the works, what can you possibly be waiting for?

Other items on sale include downloadable content for Max Payne 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Resident Evil 6, and L.A. Noire. The items below are available on sale from March 26 through Monday, April 1, 2013. On April 1st, Microsoft will offer another set of discounted games that will be available for only one day.
