Xbox Live Social and Gaming features experiencing issues

It appears as though Microsoft's online service is experiencing issues with Social and Gaming on the Xbox One, as well as Purchase and Content Usage on the Xbox 360. The features are not fully offline, but have been detailed to be "Limited" for some users.

Xbox 360 users may experience issues when purchasing items, redeeming codes, or downloading purchases.. Additionally, Xbox One owners might see limitations when attempting in-game matchmaking, using cloud storage, finding friends, using Game DVR, accessing leaderboards, editing avatars, or pictures.

All of these issues are currently being investigated my Microsoft and will hopefully be fixed soon.

Yesterday, two rumors surround Microsoft's Xbox division. One suggested that the Xbox One mini is real, multiple new Xbox devices were coming and Xbox the interface is headed to PC. The other said that all future Xbox games, including the Halo series, would release on both the Xbox One and PC.

You can check the status of Xbox Live here.
