Xbox One, 360’s free Games with Gold for February 2017 revealed

With the end of January upon us, Microsoft has revealed which titles will be free for Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners that subscribe to Xbox Live Gold. Next month, four games will be available for the Xbox One, including two backward compatible Xbox 360 games.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be getting $69 worth of games and up to 3,200 in gamerscore in February 2018’s Games with Gold lineup.

Xbox One

  • Shadow Warrior (February 1 – 28)
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India (February 16 – March 15)

Xbox 360 (Backward Compatible)

  • Split Second (February 1 – 15)
  • Crazy Taxi (February 16 – 28)

Shadow Warrior first released in 2013 across the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It received mixed to average reviews with the general consensus being that the game is fun, but has some setbacks. A spin-off of the fan-favorite franchise, Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India released in 2015 and was met with mixed reviews.

Crazy Taxi is a classic that first released in 1999 and Split Second first released in 2010. The biggest draw back is that Crazy Taxi doesn’t have the original soundtrack, which means there is no Offspring yelling “Ya Ya Ya Ya Ya” while you play.
