Microsoft decided to skip out on Tokyo Game Show this year, but they are willing to make up for their absence with an event that's all about Xbox and entirely free. On September 26th, Microsoft Japan will hold an event at the Club eX venue in Tokyo and on October 4th, they will hold a similar event in Osaka at the Dojima forum.
According to translations 'Xbox One Big Thanksgiving' could also be titled as " Xbox One Big appreciation festival" as Japan doesn't have Thanksgiving.
Both events will contain stage events and playable games for attendees to get their hands on. The events will be open to the the entire public – which means we will be getting a look at a lot of over-the-shoulder gameplay with a little official gameplay on the side from stage events.
The stage events will be livestreamed on Nico Nico from the earlier Tokyo event. Microsoft will be giving us a look at a number of upcoming titles and will hopefully reveal more for Windows 10.
