Xbox One changes the way you’ll view Achievements

In addition to the tweaks made to Achievement notifications popping up, Microsoft is also changing how Xbox One displays the Achievement details, either when your first notified or outside of game. To give you a better idea Microsoft Mike Ybarra posted two images of the revamped Achievement system, using Xbox One launch game Ryse: Son of Rome as an example.

The first image is what a specific Achievement actually looks like when viewing it. This is the screen you'd see if you were to press and hold the Xbox button when the Achievement unlock notification first pops up (or if you were looking at the specific Achievement later on outside of the game). As you can see, it includes the game, the name of the Achievement and its Gamerscore value, and when you unlocked it along with the requirement you had to perform. The most noticeable addition, though, is a nice visual background in which all of this information rests on top of.

The second image represents the Achievement hub for a specific game. Again, using Ryse as an example, you can see the Achievement completion percentage and total Gamerscore value, as well as the individual Achievements listed out in picture form.

What would be really neat is if you could somehow save these images and use them as backgrounds for your Xbox One. Do you prefer more text when looking at Achievements, or are you a fan of the new gallery look?
