Xbox One Chatpad price and release date detailed

Microsoft has been listening to the feedback from Xbox One users and they understand your need for a simpler way to send messages, log in and search on the Xbox One (if you don't use a headset or Kinect). Their answer for your problems is the new Xbox Chatpad.

The new Xbox Chatpad is nearly identical to the Xbox 360's Chatpad and features a backlit keypad, two programmable keys for "quick access to apps" and headset audio controls. The Chatpad is currently available for pre-order for $34.99.

The Chatpad will work across both the Xbox One and Windows 10, with limitations. X1 and X3 functions are limited to the Xbox One. The Microsoft Store lists October 27, 2015 as a release date, but the programmable keys will only function around mid-2016.
