Xbox One finally gets Fallout 4 patch

Now everyone has the patch. Let's celebrate!

After the first official update hit Fallout 4 on PC, it released on the PlayStation 4 a day later. Today, three days since the patch released, the Xbox One version of the game has officially been updated. With the Xbox One version officially updated, Bethesda is done with Patch 1.2 and can begin working on the next update for the game.

The update for Fallout 4 was exactly the same across the Xbox One and PS4, the only variation for the update came in the PC version where new features were added. Xbox One users can look forward to stability improvements, as well as a number of fixes for quests.

  • General memory and stability improvements
  • Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant
  • Optimizations to skinned decal rendering
  • Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals
  • Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
  • Fixed issue with "When Freedom Calls" where the quest would not complete
  • During "Confidence Man" fixed issue where player's health would continuously regenerate
  • Fixed crash related to jumping into water and reloading saved games
