Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster – January 19, 2016

This is a remastered version of the popular prequel to the original title in the Resident Evil series. The story follows officer Rebecca Chambers as she investigates a series of murders while teaming up with convict Billy Coen to survive the zombie outbreak. In addition to a standalone release, Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster will be released as part of Resident Evil Origins on January 22, 2016; this is a compilation that also includes the Resident Evil HD Remaster.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers – January 26, 2016

LEGO Marvel's Avengers is a celebration of everything Avengers — Marvel Cinematic Universe, comic books, and cartoons all included. Technically a spin-off of the LEGO Marvel franchise, it follows the plots of both The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron, as well as Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

This War of Mine: Little Ones – January 29, 2016

This War of Mine: Little Ones is a heart-wrenching, survival-themed strategy game in which you control a group of civilian survivors in a makeshift shelter in a besiege, war-torn city. At night, venture into city to scavenge for supplies. During the day, use those supplies to build up your shelter and keep the survivors as healthy as possible. This War of Mine was pretty impactful on its own; Little Ones adds the emotional aspect of exploring the hardships of wartime survival as seen from the perspective of a child.

Following a busy holiday season, Microsoft is kicking off the New Year with some small, but solid games. Check out what's coming to Xbox One in January.

The Banner Saga – January 12, 2016

The Banner Saga first released on PC back in 2014, but this month the epic Viking RPG game makes its way over to Xbox One. The Banner Saga is a grueling story in which your choice in travel, conversation, and combat determines the outcome of your own personal adventure as well as the survival of an entire civilization. The Banner Saga combines a unique tactical combat system with a cast of unforgettable characters brought to life by stunning 2D animation and art. Check out our review here.

Gemini: Heroes Reborn – January 12, 2016

Based on the relaunch of the hit TV franchise Heroes, Gemini: Heroes Reborn features a storyline from creator and Executive Producer Tim Kring which lets players experience what it's like to "Be The Hero." The expands upon the television story arc of Heroes reborn, introducing never-before-seen characters and environments, while you play as Cassandra, a young woman determined tos olve the mysteries of her past while discovering her new powers.
