Xbox One game releases for July 2015

While Sony might have a lot of releases scheduled for July, Microsoft is looking a little more barren on the Xbox One.

A racing game, a golf game, a stellar looking adventure game and a digital trading card game await you this month on the Xbox One. And hey, if you're a fan of any of those genre, then you're in for a treat. However, those hoping for something more action oriented might be a little let down.

But don't fret, Microsoft announced their Games with Gold for July, which include the absolutely stellar Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag among other games.

F1 2015 – July 10 – Xbox One

Racing sim fans can get excited for yet another yearly installment of the fantastic open-wheeled racer, F1 2015. You don't have to be an F1 super-fan in order to get enjoyment out of the game, as there are difficulty modes catered to new players as well as veterans.

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour – July 14 – Xbox One

EA's newest golf game ditches Tiger Woods and this time highlights Rory McIlroy. You can actually check out some gameplay from the game right here. The game won't feature any loading times when moving from hole to hole, which means games will move at a much brisker pace.

King's Quest: A Knight to Remember – July 28 – Xbox One

The iconic adventure franchise is making a comeback in an episodic adventure. King's Quest: A Knight to Remember will be a reboot of sorts, though it will not be a point-and-click adventure title, but instead will give players full control of their characters, much like Life is Strange.

Magic Duels: Origins – TBA – Xbox One

If you fancy yourself a Magic the Gathering enthusiast, or perhaps you're interested in playing but don't want to invest in starter decks and booster packs, this might be your best choice. Magic Duels: Origins will be a free to play game that will guide players through various rulesets of Magic the Gathering, offering them the chance to earn currency to buy booster or even spend real money to buy their own. The game will continuously update with new packs that are also being sold in stores.
