Xbox One gets three new entertainment apps today

Microsoft may have a renewed focus on games, but the Xbox One is still the "all-in-one entertainment system." As such, Microsoft announced today the launch of three new apps — Movieplex Play, Encore Play, and Crunchyroll.

Both Movieplex Play and Encore Play are free with subscription through a participating television provider in the United States. Encore Play offers more than 1,500 titles and shows, including Magnum P.I., while Movieplex Play adds an additional 200 movies.

Crunchyroll is a bit more obscure to most of you, offering popular Anime titles, including Naruto Shippuden, Sailor Moon, Sword Art Online, and One Piece in HD. There are over 20,000 episodes of professionally subtitled Anime, Korean drama, and live-action titles.
