Xbox Head Phil Spencer has revealed that the Xbox One will be getting keyboard and mouse support in the near future. The reveal came through a conversation with a fan suggesting that PC's running Windows 10 be able to stream to the Xbox One.
Spencer was interested by the suggestion, but ultimately revealed that there was no plan for that yet. Currently, you can already use a keyboard with the Xbox One and all Microsoft would really have to do is add mouse support to the console — which as Spencer put it isn't 'far away.'
In addition to upcoming mouse support, we can expect to hear when Windows 10 will become to the Xbox One soon – at least for preview members. In response to another fan Spencer commented that everything was on schedule to deliver Windows 10 to the Xbox One and that we would be hearing more about the dates 'soon.'
Spencer gave a vague timeline, but one thing's for sure… we are getting mouse support.
