Xbox One Media Remote officially announced

Following Amazon's leaked listing, Microsoft has officially unveiled the Xbox One Media Remote. Coming in "early" March — though Amazon's listed March 4, specifically — the Xbox One Media Remtoe lets you control video playback for Blu-ray movies and streaming video on Xbox One. Additionally, there are dedicated Back and OneGuide buttons, the latter providing one-touch quick access to your favorite TV shows and movies through the built-in Xbox program guide.

The Media Remote also doubles as a TV remote, allowing you to control TV/Receiver power and adjust volume through Kinect. The remote is small in design with a "soft, silicone finish." It also features backlit motion-activated buttons.

The Xbox One Media Remote will retail for $24.99.
