Xbox One release date announced

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will be releasing on November 22 in North America and the UK, as well as 11 other territories: Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand and Spain.

Microsoft announced the release date, not in grand fashion, but on Xbox Wire in a post by Yusuf Mehdi.

In addition to the release date announcement, Mehdi said that a limited number of additional Xbox One Day One consoles have been made available for pre-order. You can reserve yours now at Xbox.com. Finally, the development team has increased the CPU from 1.6GHZ to 1.75 GHZ, almost a 10 percent increase in power and performance.

It's worth noting that 11/22 is the same date that the Xbox 360 released in 2005.
