Xbox One owners eager for some cars-meets-soccer won't have to wait much longer, as Micrsoft and developer Psyonix have announced Rocket League's release date for Xbox One. The game, which is currently on PC and PS4, will be available on Xbox One next Wednesday, February 17th and will cost you $19.99 USD (or its regional equivalent).

The game has been a long time coming for Xbox One users, Rocket League released on PS4 and PC back in July 2015, and immediately became a hit with gamers who couldn't get enough of the cars-meets-soccer mayhem. Xbox One players also get an added bonus when picking up the game, three of the previously-released DLC Packs for free already bundled into the game:

  • “Supersonic Fury” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 5 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels
  • “Revenge of the Battle-Cars” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 3 Paint types, 2 Rocket Trails, 2 Wheels, 4 Toppers, 2 Antennas
  • “Chaos Run” – Two Premium Battle-Cars, 12 Decals, 2 Wheels, 2 Rocket Trails, 3 Toppers, 3 Antennas

Back in December, Psyonix announced the game would finally release on Xbox One this year. Not only that, but certain Xbox exclusive franchises, such as Gears of War, Halo, and Sunset Overdrive will be represented in the game either through cars or garage items.
