In just a few hours, the NFL Draft will begin. But as exciting as it can be seeing your team draft the next superstar (or bust if your a Dallas Cowboys fan like me), seven rounds spread over three days can be a little long. Thanks to the Xbox One, however, you won't need to sacrifice gameplay time for football time.
Using the Xbox One's NFL app, you'll be able to experience the 2014 NFL Draft with an all-new draft channel. But what makes this even better is that the snappable Draft Tracker allows you to do other things on your Xbox while still keeping an eye on the draft. You'll be able to watch movies or play games on Xbox and the Draft Tracker will keep you updated on each team's pick.
The teams are listed in their draft order, with details on what kind fo players they still need. When a team makes a pick, the app will update instantly and show who got drafted. You'll also be able to access highlights from that player.
“Our NFL experience currently features a large volume of NFL Draft videos and analysis, with new video content arriving daily,” said David Jurenka, executive producer of Sports at Xbox.
So go download the app, get cozy, and watch as my Dallas Cowboys waste another year drafting positions they don't even need. Manziel will be the perfect addition to the circus that is the Dallas Cowboys.
