Xbox One ‘Snap Mode’ lets you run two apps simultaneously

One of the new features included with Xbox One is the new "Snap Mode," a feature that allows you to essentially multitask on your console. While most devices, outside of computers, allow you to only interact with one app at once, Microsoft will challenge the idea with Xbox One's Snap Mode.

Essentially, this feature allows separate apps to be pinned to the edge of the television's screen in isolated panels, allowing you to use Xbox apps while playing a game or watching a movie.

An example during the Xbox One's reveal, showed a user watching Star Trek while simultaneously using Internet Explorer to look up further information about the movie. Using the new mode with his cell phone as a remote control, the user could watch Star Trek while watching a trailer for the sequel, find movie times, and buy tickets.

Seems a bit distracting to me, but I guess it'd be useful to some?
