While the new generation of consoles got off to a bit of a slow start in terms of game releases, things are picking up towards the tail end of the year — as is usually the case. September kicked off a promising holiday season with the release of Destiny, Forza Horizon 2, and Middle-earth Shadow of Mordor; as we pointed out yesterday, October promises more excitement for Xbox One owners, including the exclusive Sunset Overdrive.
Of course, this is video games; we're always looking ahead, never content with the present. Nothing embodies that more than a photo that Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hyrb posted today. "A graphical look at some of the games you will be playing on your Xbox One over the next few months," he tweeted alongside a photo showing off all the blockbuster games coming to Xbox One this holiday season.
Although some of the games like Shadow of Mordor, Madden NFL 15, and FIFA 15 have already been released, the image also shows off all the other goodness that awaits:
- Disney's Fantasia: Music Evolved
- Dragon Age: Inquisition
- Halo: The Master Chief Collection
- Sunset Overdrive
- Just Dance 2015
- Assassin's Creed Unity
- The Evil Within
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Fable Legends
- Project Spark
- Killer Instinct Season 2
- The Crew
- Dance Central Spotlight
- Alien Isolation
- NBA 2K15
- Skylanders Trap Team
You know what's scary? I think there are a few games left out of the image. I hope your wallets are ready.
