Xbox One version of DayZ pushed back to 2016

With the year coming to a close, Bohemia Interactive has provided us with a status update on the 2015 roadmap for DayZ, revealing that the console prototype has been pushed back to 2016.

"Obviously PC development is paramount to us. So console prototype work will get moved to Q1 of next year," the developer wrote on the forums.

DayZ was one of four games initially announced for Microsoft's Xbox Game Preview, a program that operates similarly to the Early Access model seen on PC. The program allows you to buy into games while they're still in development, essentially allowing you an early look at games while providing valuable feedback for the developer.

For a full look at the status/changes to Bohemia Interactive's DayZ roadmap, check out the post.
