Xbox One will be getting custom gamerpics and more later this month

After years of waiting, Microsoft is finally adding custom gamer pics to Xbox One! Players will be able to change their profile picture to any picture they want by uploading it from their Xbox One console, a phone or their PC. This means you can use any picture you desire… any picture. Of course, use common sense as using something vile will probably get you banned from Xbox Live.

In addition to that, the long-awaited Arena feature is coming in the same update. Arena will allow developers and eSport leagues to create competitions and tournaments in multiplayer games like World of Tanks. It's unclear how many games will take advantage of this and if there's any sort of reward system in place for those who win.

Microsoft is also making some other changes that allow players filter their Xbox One and Xbox 360 games in their games and apps library. This will allow you to keep your library nice and organized, letting you easily find your Xbox 360 and Xbox One games.

This update will be released this month for Xbox One Insiders, but a public release is currently unknown. A few weeks ago, Xbox revealed that they would be adding another new feature called Xbox Game Pass. The feature acts similar to a Netflix-like service where there's a catalog of select games that users can play for $9.99/month.
