Today, during the Microsoft Keynote presentation, Phil Spencer took the stage in his awesome Battletoads shirt, and talked a little about the future of Xbox One and Windows 10, and how both of those will be seamlessly connected.
One of those connections will allow Xbox One owners to stream their gameplay to any Windows 10 device. That means PCs and tablets all running Windows 10, will be able to display gameplay running on the Xbox One, without sacrificing framerate or any details.
This is Microsoft's answer to Sony's remote play which works similarly, and can stream gameplay footage to any PS Vita as well as Xperia Smartphones. However, adding PCs and tablets to the mix for Microsoft will undoubtedly make the Xbox One more connected.
Spencer didn't detail whether there would be any feature that allowed gamers to play Xbox One games when they're not in the house, but most likely in order to preserve the quality of gameplay as well as framerate, we're assuming this will only work locally within your home.
This is great news especially since it was announced earlier today that Windows 10 will be a free upgrade for all Windows 7 and Windows 8 owners for the first year.
