PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) released earlier this week for the Xbox One through the Xbox Game Preview program and while the game is experiencing some bumps, it doesn't mean people have shied away from playing it.
In the first 48 hours alone more than 1 million Xbox owners grabbed the game. Over the next few weeks (and months) PUBG will be enhanced and updated with new content (and you can get the game running smoother with a workaround until those updates come).
Microsoft is looking to celebrate PUBG's success on the Xbox One the best way possible, by bundling it up with the Xbox One X for a limited time. Between December 17th and through December 31st, Microsoft will be bundling PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds for free with the Xbox One X.
It should be emphasized that the version of PUBG included in the bundle is still the game preview version – which means it is still in active development and not the final game by any means. The deal will be available in select regions and through select retailers.
