XCOM 2 gameplay video takes us inside “The Avenger”

In XCOM 2, coming our way in November, the aliens have won the war against humanity. At least, that's what they think. XCOM has gone underground in a world that doesn't know it's not the bad guy. Some things haven't changed, however. The world is still counting on you to make the tough decisions, commander. You'll have even less in the way of resources than before, and now the homefield advantage belongs to the aliens.

Keeping with XCOM tradition, some of the best equipment and weapons at your disposal are repurposed alien technology. Even your mobile base, “The Avenger,” used to be an alien ship. In this latest trailer, 2K looks inside your home. This ain't exactly Extreme Home Makeover, but it just might save the world. That is, if you make the proper decisions in building it, hiring the right staff and keeping your soldiers alive. No pressure, just the future of humanity at stake.
