Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be featured in a Nintendo Direct tomorrow

With the deluge of great games that have hit the Nintendo Switch in its launch year, it's easy to forget that one of its biggest games, at least in terms of sheer size is still on the way. The open world JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles is set for an early December release date, and while it may not measure up to Super Mario Odyssey or Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the hype meter, it's a quality series in what many consider to be a dying breed.

Tomorrow, Nintendo will be devoting an entire direct to Xenoblade Chronicles 2 according to a press release that was sent out recently. There weren't many actual details regarding what the Direct will cover, but it did say that the presentation will offer "a deep dive on the world of Alrest."

This could be a more narratively-oriented affair, as there's previously been some rather in-depth coverage on the actual gameplay from back at Gamescom 2017. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a Nintendo Switch exclusive that launches on December 1st, 2017.
