Xenoblade Chronicles faceplate makes me sad we didn’t get the regular New 3DS in America

When Nintendo announced the New 3DS XL for North America, I thought nothing of it. I knew that I was going all-in with the XL. I like the bigger screen, and I generally feel like the XL is also much easier to hold comfortably over a longer stretch of time. The one thing I was slightly sad about was that the XL wouldn't have custom faceplates, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

Then Nintendo announced the custom Majora's Mask faceplates. This got me a little upset being a pretty big Zelda fan, but I was willing to let it go. "It's fine Nintendo!" I internally yelled out.

But this… This Xenoblade Chronicles faceplate makes me salty.

Just look at it!

Granted it's a Japan-only faceplate, which makes sense considering we don't have the regular New 3DS hardware here, but I'd import this gorgeous piece of plastic in a heartbeat!

WHY JAPAN, WHY?!
