Xfinity to give customers free Black Ops Cold War beta access

If you’re an Xfinity customer, we have some good news for you. Xfinity is teaming up with Activision to give their customers free Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta codes. Outside of pre-ordering a digital copy, this will be the only way to gain early access to the beta. The beta begins in October but you can register for a code right now.

All you have to do is go to xfinity.com/callofduty, sign in with your Xfinity account, and register for your code. You will be emailed your beta code before the beta begins. This isn’t the first time Xfinity has done this. The internet provider previously offered beta codes for Call of Duty: WWII and Black Ops 4.

Xfinity notes that this won’t be the last promotional tie-in for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and more details will follow before release. The early access portion of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War beta will begin on October 8th for PS4. It’ll then open up to Xbox One and PC players with a pre-order on October 15th.

If you aren’t an Xfinity customer or don’t want to pre-order, the beta will open up for everyone from October 10th – 12 for PS4. If you’re an Xbox or PC player, the beta will open up from October 17th – 19th.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will release on November 13th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can click here to check out some footage from the game’s campaign.
