XIII Fans to Receive Exclusive Two-Disc Set Featuring a Single-Player and
Multiplayer Demo CD and a Enhanced CD Soundtrack
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – September 3, 2003 –
Ubi Soft® Entertainment, one of the
world’s top game publishers, announced the upcoming availability of console
demos and CD soundtrack in support of the launch of XIII, its highly anticipated
first-person shooter. Demos and CD soundtrack will be available late September.
PlayStation®2 and
Xbox(tm) fans can get an exclusive sneak peak at exciting single-player and
multi-players levels along with a full length soundtrack produced by San
Francisco-based label Future Primitive Sound. The purchase of this two-disc will
be applied to the full product when it becomes available. Nintendo GameCube and
PC fans can receive the enhanced CD soundtrack by pre-ordering.
Select retailers
including Electronic Boutique, Gamestop, Best Buy and Game Crazy/Hollywood Video
will serve as XIII’s exclusive partners.
Electronics Boutique:
PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Xbox(tm) consumers can receive
an exclusive soundtrack disc, as well as a free single-player and multiplayer
demo disc. PC and Nintendo GameCube(tm) consumers will receive a soundtrack
disc.

PlayStation®2 and Xbox(tm) consumers can receive an exclusive soundtrack disc,
as well as a free single-player and multiplayer demo disc. PC and Nintendo

Game Crazy/Hollywood Video:

The single-player
and multiplayer demos give players an exclusive sneak peak into this highly
anticipated shooter. The single-player demo lets players experience early levels
of the game, and introduces the game’s cast of characters and conspiracy plot.
The multiplayer demo offers a taste of XIII’s innovative multiplayer modes. The
multiplayer demo features a standard Deathmatch mode.
The XIII
soundtrack is a first-of-its-kind, consisting of original music (available only
on this CD) inspired by the game and produced by San Francisco-based label
Future Primitive Sound. The soundtrack features a unique blend of funk beats and
progressive hip hop produced by Future Primitive’s team of visionary artists,
including Z-Trip, Romanowski, DJs Faust and Shortee, J-Boogie, Jack Dangers,
SWAT, DJ Zeph and Bing Ji Ling. The 13 tracks were all inspired by the game’s
stylish 70s-influenced look and vibe created by the videogame designers.
