Xseed Games brings Gungrave: Overdose to PlayStation Network

Publisher Xseed Games has brought Gungrave: Overdose, a third-person shooter originally for the PlayStation 2, to the PlayStation Network.

Yasuhiro Nightow, creator of Trigun, designed the game, which was published in 2004. Overdose holds a 68 score on Metacritic, but users have given it a more generous 8.8 … based on eight ratings. You know, those eight total people who adore Overdose (maybe they all work at a certain video game company).

I wonder what sparked Xseed to revive Overdose from its dusty grave. Maybe the staff is just wacky like that.

Either way, I'm curious. The game is available to download for $9.99.
