Xur selling special Halloween treat ‘Flight of Shadows’ in Destiny

As part of Destiny's Halloween celebration, Xur, Agent of the Nine, has brought a special treat for Guardians. I'm not talking about the Exotic armor and weapons that he usually brings; this weekend, he's also selling a special consumable.

Flight of Shadows is a special Halloween-themed consumable that changes the respawn animation for your Guardian. Normally, this item has a chance to drop from the Hive, but you can purchase it this weekend for 1 Strange Coin. There's a catch though. In order to get Xur to sell you the Flight of Shadows, you must first use one of your Jackolyte consumables (so hopefully you saved them).

Approach Xur with the Jackolyte Pumpkin Head on and he'll offer to sell you the Flight of Shadows for 1 Strange Coin. When you use the Flight of Shadows consumable, you respawn appearance will change for 24 hours.

For those of you who are experiencing problems with your Jackolyte (like it's not showing up after you use it), Bungie is investigating the issues. If you already used all three Jackolytes that the Postmaster gave you, you can still farm them from the Hive at a low drop rate. You can hold a maximum of five Jackolytes consumables and you'll ge tto keep and use them after the event is over.
