You can grab Rare Replay for free this week if you tune into Xbox Daily on Mixer

If there's one way to fuel the hype behind all of the new games being revealed at E3 2017, it's giving away older ones for free. That's exactly what Xbox is doing with Rare Replay, but there is a small caveat. It involves having to watch Xbox Daily on Microsoft's new streaming platform, Mixer while logged into your Microsoft account, and you have to do it by this Thursday.

Here's the remaining stream schedule for Xbox Daily during E3:

  • Wednesday, June 14th at 1 pm PDT
  • Thursday, June 15th at 10 am PDT

Microsoft had pitched watching their Press Conference on Mixer ahead of E3 and advertised an exclusive Sea of Thieves four-player livestream that frankly did not go well due to severe technical difficulties.

Overall, this isn't the worst thing in the world to have to do to get a free game, but it's clear that Microsoft will be pushing Mixer for all things Xbox going forward.
