I imagine meeting folks post-nuclear apocalypse is pretty hard, so you can't blame Vault Boy for taking to popular dating app Tinder in hopes of finding that special someone to swipe right with.
In what is some brilliant advertising, Bethesda is marketing its free-to-play mobile game Fallout Shelter on Tinder. While swiping through the app, there's a chance you can come across Vault Boy himself on the service. Apparently he's 25 years old, single, and ready to mingle.
Yes, I made an account to check the legitimacy of this, and surprisingly Vault Boy popped up pretty quickly. His dashing good looks and Don Draper demeanor were obviously too much for me to resist so you bet I swiped right. His profile reads:
"Build a better future together… underground! Swipe right to be selected as a Vault-Tec overseer and create the perfect underground community. Start building today!"
His likes include Nuka Cola, putting out fires, taking coffee breaks, and exploring the blasted wasteland — all things you do in Fallout Shelter. Upon becoming a match, you are sent a message and encouraged to download Fallout Shelter for free.
So if you're looking to become the next Overseer of an underground Vault-Tec vault, head over to Tinder and seek out Vault Boy. For the ladies out there, I must warn you to be careful. Underneath that innocent smile is a Vault Boy whose sole purpose is to get you pregnant in order to boost the population of his vault.
If you prefer to enjoy Bethesda's Fallout Shelter without the risk of encountering a stalker, there are other ways of obtaining it. You can download it for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time Fallout has popped up in an unorthodox manner. Last week, fans took to popular porn streaming website Pornhub to upload the latest Fallout 4 leaked gameplay footage. They attempted to hide it from Bethesda by cleverly titling the video "HIDDEN CAMERA SHOWS AUDIENCE TEASED BY BIG BUTT MAN IN TIGHTS LIVE."
