You can now download June’s free Xbox One Games with Gold

Xbox LIVE Gold members can now download this month's two free Games with Gold for Xbox One. For June, Xbox One owners are getting Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault for free. It marks the first time Xbox One games are available for free through the Games with Gold program, which was unveiled at E3 last year. All you need to do is head to the Xbox Games store and they'll be free as long as you're an Xbox LIVE Gold member.

Additionally, this week's update to Xbox One adds a brand new hub that shows you all of the benefits of being an Xbox LIVE Gold member. This new hub will show you the monthly Games with Gold as well as the weekly Xbox LIVE Deals with Gold which, for this week, were revealed yesterday.

Meanwhile, on the Xbox 360 side of things, Xbox LIVE Gold members can download the original Dark Souls for free. Then, on the 16th, more more Xbox 360 games — Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition — will also be free thorugh June 30.
