You can now pre-order the Xbox One Legacy adapter for Rock Band 4

UPDATE: If you use the code RB4ADAPTER in the promotion code field during checkout, you'll get a $15 discount making the adapter only $9.99. That's an absolute steal.

As much as I loved Rock Band back in the day, at one point, when I was getting rid of my old consoles, I had to say goodbye to both Rock Band 3 and its array of plastic instruments. It was a sad day, but one that was necessary. My closet was getting too cluttered. Well, the joke's on me, because it turns out I would have saved some money on the upcoming release of Rock Band 4.

Harmonix has already stated that legacy instruments would work with Rock Band 4, but up until now, we weren't sure how. Now we do. Those on Xbox One can preorder the Legacy adapter which is a small black box that plugs into the Xbox USB port, and allows any of the wireless instruments to seamlessly connect to it.

The best part is, it won't break the bank either as it retails for only $24.99. That means those that still held on to their instruments can order just the game and the adapter and they're good to go!

You can pre-purchase the Legacy adapter through Amazon here, and it will release on October 6th, which is the same day the game releases.
