You can still buy an Xbox One at launch; here’s how

So you forgot to pre-order an Xbox One. Maybe you didn't think you could scrounge an extra $500 at the time. Maybe you were just too lazy to go through the steps necessary for reserving one online or at your local retailer. Or maybe you just had a last minute change of mind. All are valid excuses reasons.

Whatever your reason, you may now find yourself out of luck as it's not damn near impossible to find a retailer still selling Xbox Ones in time for launch. Amazon, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, they are all sold out. But don't worry, you're not completely out of luck just yet.

Microsoft has confirmed that all Microsoft Stores in the United States and Canada will have extra Xbox One consoles available for purchase beginning at midnight on Friday, November 22. Speaking to GameSpot, a Microsoft representative explained the supply will be "limited," and consoles will be sold on a first-com, first-served basis.

Head to the Microsoft website to find a Microsoft Store near you, and then get ready to stand in line for hours on end. Don't worry, I'm sure there will be some sort of entertaining activities to make the time pass by.
