You can’t escape Jason Voorhees in Pre-Alpha gameplay footage for Friday the 13th: The Game

Last week the Kickstarter for Friday the 13th: The Game was officially fully funded, that means we are officially getting the third-person asymmetrical survival multiplayer game. The game is designed to use a 1v7 setup, where one person controls Jason Voorhees and the other players control camp counselors trying to survive the night.

"It's a classic horror fan's dream, no shaky cam, no found footage. We want you to know we're revitalizing the golden era of slashers, and putting you at the controls of each horrific, blood-splattered moment," said the developers when they first introduced the game last month.

The first look at pre-alpha gameplay for Friday the 13th echoes the developers own quotes. It should be noted that the video is using temporary assets (character models, animations, sounds etc). So, take in the gameplay with an understanding that this is not any indication of how the game will look when it releases on the PS4 and PC, but as an idea of how it will play.
