If you've been on the fence about giving investing in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, now might be the perfect time to jump in. EA has announced that gamers on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 can download the game for right now and get ten hours of uninterrupted gameplay all completely free. On top of that, the game is currently discounted 50% off alongside the promo, so if you like what you see, you can grab the game at a great price and keep all of your progress, unlocks, and achievements. If you are a PC player, you too will get access to the free trial, but not until August 16th.
Plants vs Zombies 2: Garden Warfare is the follow-up to 2014's Garden Warfare and enjoyed a very positive critical reception earning an average Metacritic score of 81 across all platforms. We really enjoyed the game when we reviewed it earlier this year, noting that "solo players have a plethora of stuff to partake in, without ever stepping through the multiplayer portal."
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 has been receiving periodic content updates and character balances, all completely free of charge since the game released, and PopCap plans to continue supporting the game long after launch.
The trial period will end at the end of the month on August 30th, 2016 along with the 50% discount.
