You had one job Atlus, and that was not to delay Persona 5 until 2016!

Just like that, in a matter of almost 4 minutes, which is the length of the new Persona 5 trailer from TGS 2015, fans' dreams were crushed. While there were suspicions and some red flags pointing to the game being delayed, the trailer confirmed that we're now going to have to wait until Summer 2016. In the word's of Captain James T. Kirk:

Regardless of the delay, that we may or may not have seen coming, the TGS trailer is absolutely bonkers, in all the right ways.

Since I don't speak Japanese, it's hard for me to actually know what's going on, especially in scenes like the first where they're all running out of a Pyramid! Some of the gameplay clips also show off the main character wandering around the subway or the city, and this time with a full 3D camera. Awesome. We also see a few infiltration scenes, such as the one outside of the building, or the one inside where they're moving through the room by going from painting to painting. We also get a glimpse at all the main characters' Personas, some dungeon crawling and even the battle system a little more.

God this game just looks so damn good! The wait is going to hurt, especially after John Hardin, Atlus' main PR guy, kept assuring fans that the game would indeed be released in 2015. Given how amazing the game looks, it's going to make the wait that much harder.
